Source-attributed repository, channel and public account metrics.
Trend observatory
Momentum, velocity and coverage from stored observations.
Compare signals
Up to four entities, with comparable metrics identified.
My export analyzer
Inspect supported fields from your own JSON, CSV or ZIP files locally.
Reports & watchlists
Save a workspace and export inspectable HTML, CSV and JSON reports.
Analytics calculators
Calculate engagement, growth and content frequency from supplied values.
THE PROCESS IS THE PRODUCT
Every result has a trail.
Search
Enter a supported public profile, channel, repository, topic or URL.
Collect
An adapter validates the request and fetches the permitted public fields.
Analyze
The engine normalizes data and calculates metrics from actual observations.
Understand
Inspect the sources, compare results, save a watchlist or generate a report.
Transparency is
a feature.
Every adapter publishes its capabilities. Every result names its source. Unavailable information stays unavailable.

Good questions.
Clear answers.
What data does SocialScope collect?
Public fields returned by supported APIs, snapshots of those observations, and the watchlists and reports you choose to save. Account exports are processed locally in your browser.
Can it access private accounts or messages?
No. A username never grants private access. This release analyzes public API data and supported fields in exports voluntarily supplied by their owner.
Which platforms are supported?
GitHub and Hacker News work without a paid key. YouTube, Reddit and X need configured API access. Instagram, TikTok, Telegram and Snapchat support compatible owner-provided imports; their live adapters are unavailable.
How are trend scores calculated?
The score combines measured relative growth, positive-interval persistence and change in velocity. It requires historical observations. Confidence describes coverage, not certainty about the future.
How fresh is the data?
Every result includes its source, original retrieval timestamp, data mode and freshness. Cached data remains visibly cached. There is no claim of continuous real-time monitoring.
Are API keys required?
Not for the demo, GitHub public access or Hacker News. Provider quotas still apply. Other live adapters require keys or approved access, configured on the server.
Can I self-host it?
Yes. The source is MIT licensed. Run Next.js with PostgreSQL for production, or use the zero-service SQLite development setup. Setup and deployment guides are included.
Is my search history private?
Saved searches belong to your signed-in workspace. You can disable or delete history. The installation’s administrators and underlying providers may process operational requests. Public API responses can be cached across the installation.
